Both.Thanks Oilguy.
After I got away from Verralls design I finally found the kind of valves he was talking about with out the Teflon or nylon seals... The smallest I could find is 1/2" I bought them (2) in case I would need them on my new processor but after the move I am not even sure if I know what I did with them...:p
The valve looks pretty normal but the difference is the body that holds the valve part that the handle is attached to has a tapered bore and it seats and seals in the valve itself without the usual seals that you would normally see in there... it has a spring loaded screw set on the bottom that holds it all together.... Good luck finding one... I just happened to find 2 at the store that sells tools and Oxygen....
Let me know If you need any more information.... hopefully I did not completely confuse you...

I also have 2 of those valves I use one on my boiler now can not keep it in adjustment. Ok I never could get my pictures of babbington burner to upload I got a new camera, and it does not work. Onward and forward I have tried a new burner design of my own. Take the oil line off of your beckett and hook up air with a regulator run 25-30 p.s.i. disconect the blower leave the innighter hooked up at the nozzle file a small groove to let the oil run over the hole {like a babby] This thing fires up right now and burns good. O yes you can use the pump with an adjustment valve to supply oil to nozzle ,put a small funnel with a hose to run excess oil down to tank. with a little work we can make this all automatic with the fire eye. I have fired mine up and it does work. you can try this with out hurting your beckett Good luck Leroy
