People , sorry for my "english"!
I made a few models, all with electric drive.
Last one , fully autonomous without nannies.
It is continuous process.
Working temperature - 390C (734F)
outlet temperature - 40 C
"Diesel" comming out , pale yelow color. But in few minutes it will be dark brown and black.
Reactor box is 0.1 m x 0.5 m x 0,4m steel sheet, 2mm thickness.
Electric heater 2.5 kW
Capacity is about 8 liters per hour (2 galons)
Start level of oil in reactor box is very imoportant (air lift problem).
Condenser / preheater is a coaxial type,
outer tube steel 40 x 40 mm, 2mm wall thickness 6 m long.
Central aluminum tube, 1,5 mm wall thickness, diameter 30 mm, 6m long aswell.
Insolation is mineral wool 100 mm (4inch).
Vapor is going out through an aluminum tube that is inside the square tube of steel.
Simultaneously through the outer tube enters the reactor with fresh oil. Hot steam coming out and warming the incoming cold oil. Is essential to maintain a constant temperature thermostat. Uniform level in the reactor are supported by the scales. The whole reactor, together with condesorom is hung on a suport a ballbearing axle. All together, revolving around the axle depending on how much oil is in the reactor, weight. If oil was spent, and aparatuss imbalanced, microswich opens valve that allow filling the reactor until it again balance. And vice versa.
No coke. I have big heater with little specific load. Viscosity is very similar as original diesel from pump.
Everything is nice. But, i stil have problem with injector build up in my mercedes 300d from 82'.
What is wrong?
It is simple distillation process. I cach all condensate. Very little amount of vapor goes to amtosfere as uncondensable. What about making olefines. Could olefines make tar and gummy repolymerization in the process?
Should i have a higher temperature of condensation?
I need to avoid condense of olefines? Maybe 170 C (340F)?
Thanks ! http://i56.tinypic.com/2uq0zt3.jpg

hello !
your post was 3 years ago... I would eagerly would hear about the reasults....
did you get more problems with clogged injectors ? did you found a solution to this problem ?
I personnaly comes from WVO (several years running on it on a ww) and it was my main issue : it was necessary to clean the injectors after 5000 kms about.
and sometimes change them too.
I got good improvement using elsbett modified injectors (can purchase directly on their online shop)
but now I want to buy a brand new mercedes vito CDI and I'm building a WMO cracking plant, to get real good oil for it.
until now, people was saying the processed WMO is perfect for actual CDI and other duramax motors. but now I find your post speaking about clogged injectors.... ?
